Come and meet Heidi; a sweet, active young lady who is just waiting for a home of her own. Heidi did have a loving home, but "her" child developed a severe allergy to her, so had to give her up. Heidi is good with other dogs, but we recommend either a male or a non-dominant female as she does want to be in charge. Heidi loves to go hiking and to play in the water; she's a pretty good swimmer and also (as you can see from her photo) good on the "balance beam." This athletic girl would be a great hiking or running companion as well as a good agility prospect. Heidi does not warm up to men as quickly as she does women, but given some time and space she does come around...and her attitude seems to vary with the individual man. Heidi is generally a happy, friendly, intelligent girl who will be a fun loving companion. She is in a foster home near McMinnville. Heidi is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations. As with most herding dogs we recommend no children under 5 years of age. Securely fenced yard please -- no underground fences. Adoption fee: $175
