Shepherd - Medium - Adult - Male - Dog - Tater

Tater is a 4 year old shepherd mix that just came into rescue on 9/18. He's a medium sized dog and has lots of energy. He's been kenneling with a small female dog and they've gotten along just fine. We'll be testing him with males at the foster house and will update his profile soon. We're just finding out that he loves to chase a ball and sits really well for treats! Tater is up-to-date on all shots including rabies, is neutered, and microchipped. A fully fenced yard is required for any potential adopter. Tater's adoption fee will be $150. Please come see Tater in person at the Albany Petco this Saturday, November 21st, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Are you the active family to fulfill his dreams of a forever home? UPDATE: I had a chance to meet and spend some time with Tater recently and just wanted to say that this is one of the sweetest dogs! He's perfect size -- he probably weighs about 45 lb. -- large enough to be able to keep up on a hike, or be a great running companion, but small enough that his size is not intimidating (he'd make a perfect "bed snuggler"). Tater gets a little excited when he's crated and sees another dog, but given some space and a chance to meet them with lots of positive reinforcement, he's comfortable and ready to play. He's a very smart dog, a very quick learner, and he'd be a wonderful housemate for a family, a couple or a single. This dog is a jewel! (Linda Watkins - PAN volunteer)
